Cancel any time. Know what you’ll pay.
How billing will work once it’s switched on, how to cancel, and when we refund. The terms of service say the same thing in more formal words.

Draft: this hasn’t been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change before Orbit’s public launch.
Today, during the beta
Orbit is free while it’s in beta. Billing isn’t switched on and we hold no card details, so there is nothing to charge and nothing to refund.
When billing starts
We’ll email every studio before billing starts, and nothing is charged without a card you add yourself.
Founding studios get two months free before their first charge, then keep their founding rate for as long as they stay a paying customer.
Studios that join after the founding list closes get a 14-day trial with no card. If you don’t add a card, nothing is charged when it ends.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
Cancelling doesn’t delete your studio straight away. Before you go, you can ask us for an export of your projects, notes and invoices.
A founding rate ends when a studio cancels. Coming back later starts at the current price.
Refunds
Monthly plans aren’t refunded for part of a month.
If you’re charged by mistake (a double charge, a charge after you cancelled, or the wrong amount), we refund it in full.
If Orbit materially fails to provide the service, or where the law requires it, we refund the affected period.
How to ask
Send us a message with your studio’s name and the email on the account. We answer within two business days, and approved refunds go back to the original card.
